Chelsea target Radamel Falcao insists he is focused on Atletico Madrid and is not letting himself become distracted by rumours of a switch to Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window.
Falcao has frequently been linked with a transfer to Chelsea as the Colombian as the Blues consider bringing goalscoring reinforcements to support much-maligned striker Fernando Torres.
Torres has failed to find the net for Chelsea since August in the Premier League, while Falcao has scored 13 goals in 11 appearances in all competitions for Atletico this season.
Goal.com claims Chelsea have already opened informal talks with Atletico regarding a €60 million transfer when the window opens in January, with that fee able to activate Falcao's release clause.
Falcao, however, is not thinking about Chelseaand the 26-year-old has ensured Atletico supports that he is firmly focused on the job in hand at the Vicente Calderon.
"The last thing I'm thinking about right now is a transfer," he told reporters, as reported byGoal.com.
"I have a contract with Atletico Madrid and I'm focused on my team.
Falcao only joined moved to Madrid in the summer of 2011 as Atletico moved to replace Manchester City bound Sergio Aguero and has found the net 49 times in 60 games for the Spanish club.
